We collect the following to provide the service:
- Account details — your name, username, email address, and a securely hashed password.
- Profile & identity card — anything you add to your public profile, such as designation, company, bio, photo, location, and social links.
- Contacts you add — the people in your vault, including names, companies, tags, where you met, and notes you record about them.
- Meetings, follow-ups & calendar — meeting notes you write, follow-up reminders, and events you create.
- Usage & device data — basic technical information such as your browser type and actions in the app, used to keep Taarly working and secure.
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the service.
- Generate meeting summaries, action items, and follow-up suggestions from notes you submit.
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- Publish your public profile or website when you choose to.
- Respond to support requests and important service notices.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the contacts or notes in your vault for advertising.
When you submit raw meeting notes, Taarly processes them to produce a summary, action items, opportunities, and promises. This processing happens to deliver the feature you requested. You can delete a meeting and its derived content at any time.
On the web, we keep you signed in using a single secure, httpOnly session cookie. It is used only for authentication — not for tracking or advertising. The mobile app stores an equivalent session token on your device. Clearing your cookies or signing out ends the session.
We share information only in limited ways:
- When you publish — content on your public profile or website is visible to anyone with the link.
- Service providers — trusted infrastructure partners (for example, hosting and databases) that process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
- Legal reasons — when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Taarly and its users.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete content — a contact, meeting, or your whole account — it is removed from our active systems. Some records may persist briefly in backups before being overwritten.
You can, at any time:
- Access and edit your profile and contacts from your dashboard.
- Unpublish your public profile or website.
- Delete individual contacts, meetings, follow-ups, and events.
- Delete your account, which removes your associated data.
Passwords are hashed, sessions use httpOnly cookies, and access to your data requires authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information and encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
Taarly is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
